Letterbox

I'm referring to a photo-a-day suggestion list for inspiration on occasion when I'm photo brain dead. On the list for today was mailbox. Actually it said 'letterbox' ~ I think it's a UK list. :) I got lucky and caught the mailman as well as a mailbox. I can't get over how our mailman will wear shorts even when it's rather cold outside.

We have a UPS driver that wears shorts year-round. Brrr. This is a good shot. I am uninspired and it is dark out. I am sure I will find something.

Yes we have an odd post man that still wears shorts in winter , I saw one yesterday...good legs though !!!!

Cool shot! It is so weird to me to see a mailbox at the house! How convenient! In AZ, all the neighborhoods have locked mailbox clusters so you walk a block or so to check your mail...or stop in the car on your way home if you are feeling lazy :)

yes indeed , we have letterboxes.. They are actuallt slits in teh door covered with a flap so the mail lands on your welcome mat. I'm lucky , mine is delivered by a regular postie on a pushbike, theough mecnisation is being threatened. @katrinacristy
