January in the Vineyards

Shelton Vineyards ~ Dobson, NC. A little stark, but still beautiful in mid-winter. We had a lovely weekend celebrating Tom's birthday here...beautiful scenery, gorgeous weather, good wine, and delicious food. Life is good. :)

Beautiful setting! I didn't realize that NC made wine. I wouldn't think the climate would produce good grapes. Was it good?
