Come On In, Gram by peggysirk

Come On In, Gram

I was babysitting Harper today while her mommy was substitute teaching. It was a gorgeous day (70 degrees/21C) so we spent a lot of time playing in the backyard. Harper thought it was pretty funny that Grammy couldn't fit in her tiny play cottage ~ I think there's a 3 ft/50 lb weight limit. I had to be the mail lady and deliver leaf letters through the mail slot. :)
That is a cute picture with the little lady of the house smiling at the door !!! A mail lady is a very respectable job but I bet you wished you could have squeezed in for a cup of tea !!!

@happypat I do wish I could squeeze in for tea, Pat! There's a tiny little table and two chairs inside the cottage...Harper will have to invite one of her itty bitty friends over for a tea party. :)

These little cottages are wonderful. Until the first spider. Much posher than the one my kids had. Maybe that's why they had spiders. Harper has such adorable dimples!

What a wonderfull shot of your beautiful granddaughter. You must love living so close to her. As you know we must travel but we do it often.

Oh sweet Harper! Haven't seen much of her lately. Playing with them is just the best, isn't Peggy? Great capture of her gorgeous smile.

Oh she's looking very grown up here! @bpaquette She's needs a current version of my 2 year old soN who used to be sent in to the play house at nursery by the staff to clear out spiders. He tried to be gentle but I suspect the spiders were never the same again!

@judithg @bpaquette Judith and Barbara ~ I used to shudder at the creepy crawly things that would take up residence around my daughters' play area...they, fortunately, never seemed to mind them or notice. :)
