It's a Rainy Morning, No Buts/Butts About It

A pretty crummy shot...but I thought the fact that it was framed by rear ends gave it enough interest to use for today. Fortunately there's no case of plumber's crack on the city worker kneeling on the sidewalk making repairs to something. Posting early as I'm getting things lined up to head for a girls' weekend at the lake with some best friends from Atlanta. I can't wait!!
Oh enjoy your week end Peggy ..the best sort you can go on!!!!! Have a ball as us girls can do !! I say the word 'girls' loosely on my part ! You will be glad of the rain too perhaps in your part of the world. great view of two rear ends but they are on the wrong side of the road!!!!!!

@happypat Thanks, Pat...I am so looking forward to this weekend get-together!! As far as driving is concerned, I think Americans and Europeans should meet in the middle by driving on the left side of the road with the steering wheel on on left side of the car. :)

Hi Peggy hope you have a wonderful weekend with the girls.

great photo Peggy , love the reflections from the road surface , and how you captured the rear lights of this truck , love how you have captured the wet road surface too.

Enjoy your weekend. Interesting language difference .. we refer to builders' b**s.

Haha...you're a hoot. Have a marvy time with your friends!!!

Clever captioning of all the rear ends ahead of you!

Have a wonderful girl's weekend! Are any of them on 365?
July 19th, 2012
Hahaa - we call that 'builder's bum!' Glad you didn't have to suffer it.... Nigel tells me it's HOT in Greensboro - he won't mind if it rains tomorrow when they're competing though.
July 19th, 2012
@judithg Nigel is correct...it is VERY HOT and extremely humid. :( A totally different weather scene than the UK...I was watching a bit of the Open golf tourney and saw quite a few lovely sweaters and jackets on players and patrons.

@Weezilou Thank you, Louise! No, none of the four girlfriends are 365ers. However, I'm sure they'll be making an appearance via a post or two of mine next week. I've promised not to do any unflattering swimsuit shots. :)

@peggysirk It's set to change though Peggy - next Tuesday is forecast to have full sunshine :0). I know weve been moaning but in many places (including semi-arid Cambridge I suspect) it's rained EVERY day since the start of June and was rubbish in April and May - the Nation is collectively slashing it's wrists!!!
July 19th, 2012
@peggysirk women "of a certain age" would be grateful for that consideration!
July 19th, 2012
@peggysirk The Open Golf is not that far from me Peggy, possibly 20 miles at the most. I have golfing visitors staying for B&B in now. So you see that weather & you see mine!!
July 19th, 2012
enjoy your weekend! Don't behave yourself!!!!
July 19th, 2012
Have a great weekend and I agree with @jenrobcarr re the behaviour! As for the 'plumber's crack', we adapt it to fit the occasion: builder's, plumber's, carpenter's, etc.
July 19th, 2012
Only you my friend, can make me laugh with a shot of rear ends. LOL
July 20th, 2012
@judithg @happypat I know the rain has been driving you crazy...I've been watching it come down via major sporting events since Wimbledon in June. Looks like another rainy day at the Open Championship...so you must be getting rain, Pat. What's the forecast for the Olympics? Let me guess, rain? I hope the UK sees some glorious sunshine soon!!
