This little wren was having a great time splashing in the bird bath on this gorgeous, sunny, 63 (17C) degree, Sunday afternoon. :)
Three good things:
1. The Atlanta Falcons are playing the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC championship game
2. Kickoff is in two minutes
3. Go Falcons!!
wow, different weather than we're getting in the buffalo area today. frigid cold, snowy and blustery. enjoying a good start by the falcons though. 10-0 in the 1st quarter.
What a gorgeous capture of this joyful little bird. Love all the drops and the great bokeh, too. Looks like a sparrow rather than a wren to me but I guess you know your own birds!
@girlie Robin, it could be a sparrow...I couldn't be certain with all of his wet, spikey feathers. I had seen some little Carolina wrens hanging around and just assumed one had jumped in the bird bath. :)
