It's March 1 and it looks like the weather plans to match the calendar. I think we have a few more weeks of winter weather to get through before Spring puts in an appearance.
Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!
Three good things:
1. Heading down to coastal Georgia for the weekend
2. Time with all 'my girls' - mom, daughters, granddaughter
3. The first cup of coffee on an early morning
Beautiful capture of this harbinger of Spring. Lovely dof. A friend told me she saw a robin yesterday. I suspect it was one of the older ones that couldn't quite make the migratory trip this year. . . . or one that is very sorry she returned early. Have a great weekend . . . I'll be seeing "my girls" in 4 weeks.
Love his bright red breast Peggy & the way he is sitting in that budding tree. Have a wonderful weekend with your girls, lots of laughter & food you haven't cooked yourself plus perhaps a little wine?
i am one third of the way through The Dog Stars & am really enjoying it's quirky unusual style...not my usual sort of book at all, although I think it's a complete one off
That's a lovely bird - I see from @barbsmith that it's a robin - I get them a bit confused with cardinals? Winter has reappeared here so I am VERY envious of your weekend away (with a little boy on board too!).
Beautiful shot Peggy - it looks wonderful large. Such a pretty bird and captured so sharply against the gentleness of the budding tree - really lovely. Have a lovely weekend.
