Harper and T Rex by peggysirk

Harper and T Rex

...chillin' with an iPad and popcorn. A shot from Sunday that I posterized for fun.

Three good things:
1. Finished the kitchen clear out this morning
2. Packed and ready for a weekend away
3. Tom will be home from Kansas City this evening/dinner out tonight
Love it. The posterizing is perfect here. Have a fun weekend.

Such a fun way to process a picture! I love how it picked up all of the different colors in that little beauty's hair. My Ashley is in Kansas, and the bank that she works at was closed the day before yesterday due to the snow storm. Was Tom there during the storm, or was he lucky enough to miss that? Have a wonderful weekend my friend!

Ooh I'm getting excited about your kitchen! I met with our Reception (kindergarten) teacher the other day as part of my governor duties and she said the children arrive and try to 'scroll' the computer screen! Also she said they are no good with scissors but brilliant with apps! Love T Rex - have an excellent w-end!

@petersonsheri He was there for all of the snow, Sheri. Fortunately, his meetings and hotel were in the same general area so he didn't have to go too far. Although snow and cold don't seem to bother him too much...must have been the couple of winters spent in Duluth overseeing a project up there, not to mention the fact that he grew up in the mountains of WV. :)

@judithg Harper's skill with an iPad at 2 1/2 years is pretty impressive. She hasn't been introduced to scissors yet. But if that skill is genetic, she should be ok. I remember seeing a report card of mine that my mother had saved from my kindergarten career. I received an O (outstanding) in 'uses scissors and crayons well'...along with an 'N' (needs improvement) in 'deportment'. Apparently I was a bit of a socializer. :)

@happypat Oh, thanks for the fave, Pat! That posterizing effect is really fun. I think your chickens would look very cute posterized. :)

"Ages and Stages"... Like Harper and her T-Rex, we all speculated this past weekend that "Dinosaurs" will be the next level of interest! (As Ashton is "all boy" the current craze is School Busses and Trucks)

@peggysirk Nothing changed then (apart from deportment I'm sure)!! I wish we'd had deportment classes - I might now have decent posture! We used to call Adam 'Edward Scissorhands' as he was completely mad about them - I think I'm still finding snippets of paper - and the house was full of Sellotaped together cardboard boxes shedding glitter. Those were the days even though it wasn't a look that would make 'Homes and Gardens'....

Love the effect you've got here. What a sweet shot; Alex is right into dinosaurs, too.
