Pollen Season by peggysirk

Pollen Season

It's been an off-the-charts pollen season. It's been 'snowing' oak tree pollen pods for the past few days. I've been cleaning off the patio, porch, walkways, rabbit, etc. with the leaf blower at least twice a day. I think I walked around most of the day yesterday with pollen pods in my hair...didn't notice until I was getting ready for bed last night. :)

Three good things:
1. Downton Abbey...I'm halfway through season two and have ordered season three
2. Having carpets cleaned this afternoon
3. Took the rest of the chocolate cream pie from yesterday's lunch over to my little elderly neighbor. She was so thrilled...you'd think she'd won the lottery, bless her heart.
Oh how sweet the rabbit looks covered with pollen ...oak tree pollen I don't think I have ever seen this sort of pollen before ...looks like shredded wheat which is a cereal Harry likes with hot milk!
Downton....lucky you to be only half way through & all that pleasure to come! Best place for the chocolate cream pie if you ask me..who could not resist polishing the lot off!!!

@happypat It does look like cereal, Pat...long, thi, dry pods that look like wheat. :)
I am LOVING Downton Abbey...I wish Mary would lose the attitude and marry Matthew. And I wish that Cora would wise up to the scheming O'Brien and Thomas. :)

Very funny shot Peggy - I have never seen that pollen either. Rabbit looks a bot bemused by it all!

He looks like he has a cute little hat on. I'm not familiar with that pollen either. What type oak tree are we talking about?

Oh yes - lucky you to have all that Downton ahead of you. A good rain then a sunny day should take care of that nasty pollen pod business.

Hahaa - get in and sort out Downton Peggy! I've been to a wedding at the house :0). Didn't last long though :0(. I've never seen pollen like that either - we have proper clean oak trees!! Looks cute on the rabbit though. Good for you with the pie - I'm quite elderly...;0)
