It's been an exciting two days in Charlotte, NC with our 'big' winter storm. This is the house across the street and the beginning of the snowfall yesterday. It looks like a black and white shot, although it's not...it's a white house and snow covering everything with color. I think we ended up with about 8 or 9 inches of snow.
Three good things:
1. The sun just came out and the snow is already beginning to melt, but it was beautiful and fun while it lasted.
2. Walking up to the deli for lunch and seeing no cars on the streets, but lots of neighbors out walking and playing in the snow.
3. 71F (21C) in the forecast for next weekend...only in the South! :)
@cimes1 Thanks so much for the fav, Carole! I have felt like we are in a winter wonderland for the past two days...so much gorgeous snow! That beautiful home is the Villalonga-Alexander house. It was built in 1901, has had a number of renovations and upgrades over the years, but has stayed very true to the original home.
What a gorgeous view to that home across the street! I can't get over that snowfall! It seems perfect! That is...some nice photo opportunities and then...gone!... Enjoy the warm weekend!
