A cold morning on the Linville River and the trout weren't biting. Tom put on his waders, boots, and ice fishing gloves to fly fish for a few hours. No fish, but he said the scenery and serenity more than made up for it.
Three Good Things:
1. The Chinese Lunar New Year - hoping that the Year of the Ox will be better than 2020's Year of the Rat.
2. The Great Backyard Bird Count starts today (2/12-15)
3. The painters did an amazing job with the ceiling. I can't stop looking up at our flawless ceiling. :)
Beautiful rich colours in the river...looks a bit coppery....I’ve always thought the attraction of fishing wasn’t so much the catching as the sitting on your own contemplating life.....men seem to like doing that!
