The ballistic impact of sleet into the bird bath is pretty dramatic when caught at slow speed. ☺
It's a raw, dreary Saturday morning. I think today's Great Backyard Bird Count numbers will be on the low side.
Three Good Things:
1. Cute Valentine treat bags made by the Queen City Squad (a local charitable group) to include with our soup kitchen lunches yesterday.
2. Australian Open tennis
3. Dark chocolate has health benefits
Ooh that looks cold. I feel bad because our birdbath is frozen completely solid - I’ve been hacking away at the ice on the pond to give the birds and cat a chance of a drink at least.
I keep telling myself that about chocolate...trouble is I prefer the milk! Very dramatic bird bath bomb....our bird bath is in storage so we just have the dogs metal water bowl out in the garden....the birds & Connie have to share it!
