A cardinal couple sharing a late lunch. Not sure what was on the menu. The NCDNR has recommended taking feeders down again until further notice due to a continuation of the songbird salmonella outbreak.
Three Good Things:
1. A successful lunch at the soup kitchen.
2. Neither of our cars were hit yesterday by the driver who sideswiped three parked cars on our street before crashing into another at the corner intersection.
3. A beautiful, breezy April day
Lucky miss Peggy....sounds a real disaster for your street! Looks like there’s a bit of Spring snogging going on here.....you must be tired on a Monday night!
@happypat It was an interesting Sunday afternoon, Pat. Don’t know how we got so lucky. He hit four cars.
I’m usually ready for bed a little earlier than normal on Mondays and Fridays. 🙂
Peggy, I see this so often with Mr and Mrs Cardinal at my feeder but haven’t been lucky enough to capture it. Well done! So glad neither of your cars was involved...or that anyone was injured...what a scare.
