Frozen in Time

This morning I took down the garden clock that hangs on the fence to reset the time. I was startled to find this little anole lizard underneath it. It didn't move when I moved the clock, or when I blew on him, or when I touched his tail. It was a relatively cold morning and I thought he might be in hibernation mode. I left the clock down so that the sun could warm him up. When I checked about 30 minutes later his tail was starting to twitch. The next time I looked, he had taken off...hopefully to a more insulated hibernation home.
Three Good Things:
1. The month of November
2. Clocks that automatically reset with the time change
3. Getting back to 365 after a week off.
Wow! I would hate to be a reptile.

Your clocks have changed quite late Peggy….we did ours at the end of October & the sudden dark nights are a bit of a shock.
You knew exactly what to do with this little lizard….he would be grateful.
