November Hawk by peggysirk

November Hawk

I'm not sure if this is a sharp shinned hawk or a Cooper's hawk. I'm guessing sharp shinned given it's small size. Despite it's size, I felt his stoic presence. I looked up to see him staring at me from his power line perch. And he was kind enough to stay there until I ran back inside to get my camera.
Three Good Things:
1. The good people of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral brought souvlaki sandwiches for soup kitchen lunch today. We made a Greek pasta salad to go with them. A delicious and easy day at the DSK.
2. Our new patio fire table on chilly autumn evenings
3. An afternoon pick-me-up expresso w/cream
Fancy seeing that lovely bird….you would feel it’s eyes on you. Generous folks helping out…we all need people like that & your group!
Good coffee specially with cream! 😋😋
