View From My Kitchen Window

I've been told by my neighbor that this is the oldest crepe myrtle tree in Charlotte. I'll take her word for it. It looks like it's been there for a while. It's quite beautiful when in full bloom ~ but also pretty cool when it's not.
The house (this is a partial side view) is quite remarkable, too. This is the Villalonga-Alexander house, built at the turn of the 20th century.
I'm not that impressed with this shot, but I really like that tree. :) Think I'll stick this in my "Extra Stuff" album and see what else I can come up with today.
does this tree bloom?
that would be fun to see too
in fact it would be fun to see this view in each season.
i love it

@glendq It is covered with beautiful deep pink blossoms in the summer. I'll definitely get a repeat shot then. :)

Cool...there's a really old one on the road where I used to live. I swear when we have a 'forever home' I'm gonna line the driveway with pink and purple Crepe Myrtles! Love em...Love that they bloom for months on end...and they get huge if well tended. The "before and after" shots will be interesting!
