Another entry in my accidental fence series (three in a row!). I took this photo of a fence in the evening as the setting sun shone through its basket weave style horizontal slats. I played with the contrasts in editing and liked the extreme effect of black and white. It looks to me as though each fence finial is being illuminated by a spotlight.
Thank you all very much for stopping by to view my album and taking the time to leave a comment. I read each one eagerly and appreciate them all. I am very thankful to have found the 365 community. Your projects inspire and motivate me everyday. It's wonderful to share this journey with you!
Happy 100th photo to all those who started their project on January 1!
Before I read your description I thought it was some fancy fence in a big city somewhere (for some reason I thought "London"), each post illuminated individually, as you say. I'm very impressed with your vision in being able to take what is presumably a "normal" looking fence and bring it to this.
This works really well in stark B&W. Simple but really effective. Congratulations on your 100 shots - it's great to follow you and share your journey; thank you for sharing mine!
Terrific - I was going to say you're getting better and better but have jsut browsed through your back catalogue and you've got amazing photos from Day 1. Thanks for pointing out the fact that I've just posted my 100th photo - must go and find a glass of something to celebrate!!
I just noticed how stupid my comment above was because you mentioned the 'accidental' fence photos. I obviously didn't read your description! Still a great shot today!
This is so cool. Well done on getting on so well with your project. It is a special community. My hubby has taken to visiting my project just to read all the comments and he has noticed what a great community it is
Wow what a fabulous photo for your 100th, love the lighting and patterns too! I started on January 1st, I don't know how I have missed you, a follow and a fav!
