I have a weakness for fences. Since starting this project, I can't seem to pass one by without considering its photographic merits. This is another for my ever growing collection. At least it's not a split rail or picket fence this time, but an old wrought iron one I spotted on a walk through the historic part of town.
This is a great fence! I love the blue/green contrast in color and also texture. These look like little soldiers all in a row (where the pineapple or whatever could be their helmets).
I am definitely a fan of a fence. I often do not get them captured well. This has such lovely color and composition! When I was in Nebraska, I could not help stopping at all the fences that seemed to go for days along the landscape!
i'm with you on that one. fences, shadows, vintage, rust.....it's all a wonderland. i love the vine on the wrought iron. i've never seen this style either and got a few webs as well!
It's lovely! It's good to have one thing you like to feature in your work. For some it's flowers, others like barns or covered bridges, so why not fences? Good shot!
