A violent storm rolled into our area yesterday evening, pelting us with heavy rain and high winds. During a short break in its fury, I noticed the dark clouds part enough to reveal a sky ablaze by the setting sun. I ran outside and took a few photos of the unfolding drama.
I can't look at this now without seeing a profile in those angry clouds. Do you see it, too?
Wow - those are some violent storm clouds. We have it at the moment - my weather emergency radio keeps going off and telling us to stay away from windows and not go outside. Yikes! Hope it's passed over you!

These storms have blasted into the eastern part of the state and caused some pretty severe flooding in places, but totally bypassed our valley. I like this 3D sky.
