It has always been my dream to photograph in a tree farm. I had the opportunity this fall and it was as thrilling I had imagined. There is something so fascinating about the rows and rows of trees as far as the eye can see.
Soooo dreamy Lisa! I've been too hesitant to get on one of the tree farms or ask. Have to ask, is this one shot? I see it is at 300mm distance with the nice tight aperture, but just can't believe the wonderful focus. It's really just so relaxing and beautiful. Framing is really quite nice too. Feels like a magical portal!
@darylo Hi Daryl, thank you for your comment and fav. The focus was definitely a challenge. I tried different focus points and this one turned out reasonably well. I have been told on Flickr that focus stacking would be a good approach, but I don't know the first thing about that. This is just one shot. If you have the chance to photograph in a tree farm, you should try it. Such fun!
