Getting back into back into Lightroom will require a reeducation! It seems I have forgotten my editing process, and the little tips and tricks that I had gathered over time. I hope it's like learning to ride a bike! Today I deleted masses of photos. It feels good to purge images that are just not worth another viewing. I did come across this one that I felt deserved a post. I like the graceful branches laced in frost.
I so totally understand how you're feeling. I used to use Aperture, but Apple discontinued it for something dumbed down. Trying to get what I want in Lightroom, but everything is sooo different.

@primitiveprobe I have heard from other Aperture users about the challenge transitioning to LR. It's difficult when one wants to change, but all the more so when the change is forced. We can learn and (relearn) Lightroom together. Currently, I am trying to figure out where my plug ins have gone. I migrated to LR CC some time ago and then LR set dormant. Now I see that my Alienskin plug in has gone missing... not sure if it's the program or me! Sigh.There is always something, isn't there?! Ha!
