@congaree thanks for your comment, John. I don't have a dedicated macro so adding the macro accessory to my LB seemed worth a try. I like the result when I get a good shot, but there are many more misses than hits. Achieving focus isn't easy. It takes patience and the willingness to just experiment a lot. I enjoy the process and am glad I have it. If you already have a Lensbaby, I think it makes sense to add the macro accessory. If you didn't have a LB but wanted to do more macro, I would go another route - either macro lens, extension tubes, etc. Hope that helps a bit. Thanks for the good info, Lisa. I probably will get a dedicated macro lens. I keep putting it off because I can get a fair amount of good flower close ups with my regular lenses.
