As well as photography, I like football (soccer to my friends from the USA and Canada). I was struggling to get a shot outside today and when I got back from work it was dark.
Anyway, I was catching up with the football news on 'Sky Sports News' and decided that taking a picture of what was on TV actually reflected something I spend a lot of time doing (watching sports).
So here is my picture of the day, a hand held shot of England international Theo Walcott being interviewed about a midweek game.
Watch out for some pictures from the Reebok stadium and Bolton Wanderers Football Club on my 365 journey (this Sunday I should post a Bolton Wanderers picture).
Anyway it's not the best picture in the world, but it does reflect what I like and falls into the category of 'photo blog'
@seattle Thanks Constance. I just 'pointed and shot' with the camera on 'auto' and was pleased how it turned out. It's a compact Panasonic TZ7 and is an excellent camera for street photography as it is quite small and unobtrusive.
@keneva thanks for the support, In the UK we call footvall (soccer) 'the beautiful game' ...let your husband know that little bit if knowledge..I am sure he will be impressed :)
look forward to some real live footy shots..
