THE LILLIES ARE IN BLOOM !

A few days ago I did a shot of a vase of lillies before they bloomed.

The Lillies had sat in the vase for over a week and had not bloomed.

Now a few days later they have bloomed and look really nice.

I tried various angles, some similar to the original picture, but in the end I went for a close in crop.

The buds were a lovely yellow colour, but the flowers now open are a nice shade of white.

Hope you like the close up picture.

@patsyjphillips Patsy 'turned out nice' :), we use that expression in the UK when the weather takes an unexpected turn for the better :) Glad you could use it for my Lillies :)

Lovely close up. Lilies aways bring the Easter season to mind, although Easter is quite late this year.

lol - I was surprised to see a blooming lily and was almost ready to move back to the UK :-) Then I realized you had bought them - still a lovely shot!
