Whippet legs and a one legged toy furry ! by phil_howcroft

Whippet legs and a one legged toy furry !

Seen on our patio.

Ruby stands astride next to her latest toy furry, which she took about 5 minutes to chew a leg off.

Long autumn shadows, two nimble whippet legs, a 'poundland furry' and patio slabs make up a rather abstract image.

Another whippet image tomorrow to finish off my mini whippet series

Cool

Her legs are so slim and graceful, they remind me of a horse. Neat way of arranging the image so we get an insight into Ruby's character.

@judithg Judith she has a knack of demolishing furrys in minutes ! She knows we keep a 'stash' of them in the cupboard under the stairs and often goes 'ferreting' in there for new ones.

@happypat i think she just acting as whippets would....historically they were coursing animals...but ruby is a big softie at heart :)

@shadowdancer thanks shadow :)

@allie912 thanks allison, whippets are very graceful especially when they run, so your comparison to a horse is quite relevant

I'm surprised furry is still in one piece - we have only two toys of many that have survived Harry and Milly treatment! Never get anything with a squeak they have that killed in seconds!

@sparkle juliette squeaking toys are ruby's fave's :)

This is a funny shot. Seeing only Rubys front legs makes me imagine that she is standing like a human. Thats not quite as weird as it sounds because my daughter often has me imagining particular dogs as humans and guessing how they would behave, anyway I digress.... nice pic.
