Slab Square - Nottingham by phil_howcroft

Slab Square - Nottingham

This is a picture from Saturday as I didn't do a Tuesday picture. Saturday was such a beautiful October day, I think it deserved an extra image.

This is Nottingham Market Square, also known as 'slab square'.

The building in the background is the council house, the water in the foreground is a new water feature built a few years ago when they revamped the square.

Part of the square directly in front of the council house is now home to tents and campers of the Occupy Wall Street Movement.
Great colours and love that reflection, great capture

Oooh clever!!! You go the 'top' of the reflection in too - it's a real bugbare of mine - the number of times I chop off a reflection!

This is outstanding, Phil. The details of the council house are so sharp and the water, so limpid. It is a beautiful picture.
