These tulips are growing in a terracotta pot just outside our front porch.
They have looked like this for about 2-3 weeks now !!!
The weather has been really wet in April and we've had little sunshine. They seem to be saying 'I'm not opening while there is no sun" !!!
I hope I've captured the damp wet feel to these bulbs. They really should be in full flower and providing a welcome smile and splash of colour in our porch !
I think tulips are at their best at this stage & surprisingly the wind hasn't knocked them over . Very pretty beads of rain & they look healthy so obviously like the weather , you have had good value from these bulbs !

You certainly have captured the damp wet feel! There isn't room for another rain drop on their surfaces! Beautifully done. Our tulips got the rain when they were open and got completely flattened.
great shot mate - well now, would you fancy sitting in a pot unfurling yourself in this rain?? I personally don't blame them...even my ones indoors won't flower, I think they're scare I'll out them outside! Never mind, lovely blue skies today!
