Goodbye to Cala Mesquida - Last of My Vacation / Holiday Images
This is the last of my vacation images (hurray say all my followers ...about time we saw some more rainy Arnold and Nottingham shots !!!)
This may be my last shot of the vacation (but I may post a guy in a high vis jacket at Palma airport) but it's one of my wifes faves.
This is me being quite serious with my composition.....foreground interest, complimentary colours, scale (little people at the bottom of the cliffs) and a nice diagonal with what passes for a path down to the waters edge.
Do you think I should get a 'cheap holiday' or a special award from the Cala Mesquida hoteliers for showcasing this beautiful spot in Mallorca with my images? :) :)
Anyway back to more mundane images soon........the 58 bus, macro flowers, sunny Arnold !!!

The first thing that hit me when I first saw this picture was the clear blue water, you can see the different depths around the bay. Those yellow flowers are a focal point & then your eye is drawn down to the people at the bottom, clever hey Phil! It looks superb viewed large!
Even though you've 'been quite serious' with your composition, the resulting shot looks really natural and is a fantastic image of what obviously was a great holiday!
Goodness what a lot of thought went into this..............amazing how much more one appreciates other shots having tried to do better!! Watched a tv program the other night on London Bridges, the photography was superb, bet i wouldn't have noticed had I not started this.......anyway this is also superb!! Oh, that glorious water!!
