Lavender Bush

This is a lavender bush next to a path / steps leading up our garden

Shot at a wonky angle (because their are no rules about not shooting at wonky angles !)

The bush was bought at Lidl 12 months ago (bargain price) and is looking rather beautiful despite all the wet and miserable summer we've been having in the UK.

I need to get more lavender - we took loads of old ones out of the front - they do a great job of hiding weeds as well as being gorgeous!

Lots of bees around it too I expect Phil. i have lots of Lavender in my garden I always think it looks beautiful with pink roses. I looked large as I thought you might have caught a surprise bee, sunshine though!!!!

wonky angle shooting is of course allowed - like the pov and lovely colour. I really like lavener - great for attracting buttliflies

I'd say you must have the perfect climate for lavender. The color is rich and festive. I'll bet it smells as good as it looks!

Love your wonky angle!! and love your lavender, no one can resist stroking lavender to extract that gorgeous scent. I have a pot of lavender in the veg garden to attract bees, although bees don't fly in the rain!!!!!

I like the angle too and the colours of the flowers is superb. By the way check out Aldi for garden stuff, my daughter got some wonderful little fruit trees!
