This is part of the weather vane that sits above my shed roof
I did a shot of my north south east west bits of the weather vane in the first year of my 365
The vane used to be a french cockerel, but that got rusty (i wanted to paint it red white and blue !!!), but my wife bought me this 'dog vane' a few years ago.
The dog has now gone rusty too !

They always go rusty Phil because they are in too much rain. I must say I rather like ''Fido'' but a very odd breed ...long ears & a curly tail, ask Ruby if she knows what breed it is!
Great shot! I like him a lot and think he looks great rusty. You have captured his textures really well. I would like a weather vane - must look into it.
