I don't know why I've done this as I'm not happy with it, but spent 30 mins chasing bees around this lavender bush with my P&S little panny (which is not ideal for chasing bees around, because of the time lag between clicking the shutter and the camera capturing the shot)

Anyway the best thing about it is you can see the bees eyes !!!

Quite a serious crop too ...this is bout 2/3rds of the original frame

Amazing eyes! I was also chasing bees yesterday!!.....and the detail is brilliant!!

great Panny macro Phil, it is good at these shots - but tricky when there's movement - you did well, great detail on his eye

Wonderful shot and detail. The angle almost makes the bee look like its got a mohican!
