Whippet in the Snow

Saturday's picture was a whippet in the snow.

Sunday's picture is a whippet in the snow.

Saturday was a real whippet, Sunday is a garden ornament that sits on our patio.

You will be glad to know that after the shot I wiped the snow off it's head so it can see properly.

This shot was captured while waiting for the birds to come and feed on the feeders. I had my camera on a tripod, focussed on the bird seeds and my remote flicker for the camera all set to 'flick'

Unfortunately, my setup didn't quite work because the flicker seems to work better from in front of the camera rather than behind !

This was sold as a greyhound ornament rather than a whippet , but hey it looks like a whippet !!!

Oh goodness I wondered what had happened to poor Ruby then....thought she had gone grey with cold!!!! Looks more like a bear to me ....Ruby is far prettier than this imposter!!!! You have lots of snow!! Are you on school hours now & finishing at 3.30pm ?

ha ha your tripod and trip probably froze, i sometimes set mine up by the back door ready for birds but am too impatient to wait for long!..another day!
