Bride and Groom - Kirsty and Matt - Outside the Church
Saturday 3rd August 2013 has been a big date in the Howcroft family for some time.
The wedding of my eldest daughter, Kirsty, to Matt has been two years in the planning and ........ I'm pleased to say all the planning worked well as the day was perfect.
This is one of 550+ pictures I took with my 60D, one of 180+ my youngest daughter Claire took with my 450D, one of 380+ my next door neighbour Dave took. We've still got images to collect from my brother, and two of my friends from Camera Club, so I estimate we will have in excess of 1500 images of the day !!! WOW that's a lot of images
I chose to post this image because it shows off the beautiful dress, the beautiful bouquet of flowers ....and if I may add my beautiful daughter ...oh and Matt scrubbed up well too :)
My speech went down well, it had some funny lines and some lines from the heart.
I hope you like this shot of Kirsty and Matt outside the church
I'll catch up with commenting later tonight, but I wanted to post the images to share with you.
You have captured a really lovely moment here, its a beautiful image and the happiness of the couple looks so natural and spontaneous - really well done Phil, that is a look no 'bought in' photographer could have ever hoped for!
So glad everything went well. What a beautiful bride! The smiles on both bride and groom speak volumes. Looking forward ,to seeing more of the 1500 pictures.
Oh absolutely gorgeous!!! Feeling a but jealous of the number of photos - we had about 15 'official' - not brilliant if I'm honest and probably 30 out of focus, rather dark amateur (that's what you get for a January wedding). You must have been very proud indeed!!
this is a great shot - I'm sure they will be very happy with all the shots you have taken - going through them will be the hardest part of it all! I had 4500 at my friends wedding last summer!!
Aww...beautiful! Congrats to Kristy and Matt! It is my parents' anniversary and they've been together 50 years so I think it's a good choice! :) I'm happy for all of you!
@happypat Pat, I am behind with my 'thank you posts'.....but many thanks for the lovely things you said about kirsty and matts wedding day....i was a very proud dad :)
