Vernon Park Leaf Collecting

More mobile phone shots from my lunch time walk around Old Basford.

These are Nottingham City Council Employees ..Parks Dept.... clearing the carpet of autumn leaves from the park.

In fact they are colleagues of mine...because I'm a Nottingham City Council Employee... Education Dept.

It's a pity you cannot see the pile of leaves because they are in the shadows.

I had a bit of banter with the men..they were taking joking with me as I took pictures of the trees and skies :)

This is a huge green area - must be used for games too? Can't have the players slipping in the wet leaves! Nice wide landscape picture!
