You were meant to get a bonfire montage .... but you get this instead....
You were meant to get a bonfire montage, but I took my nifty fifty and it was far too fast for the fireworks and the results were a tad to burnt out (no bonfire pun intended).
So instead you have "Minimalistic Fields" on the path between Redhill and Bestwood Country Park.
Edited in GIMP and an G'MIC film emulation filter of a Rollei IR 400 film.
A bit of messing about with contrast and the result is as above...quite grainy and atmospheric
I've shot these fields from various angles and on various zooms before, but I don't think you've been this far down the field before.
Fabulous Phil.....love the tram lines & the b/w of course you do so well..........the wide open space & big sky is very impressive. Nice textures of the crop & sky!
@happypat many thanks Pat, i'm enjoying the new monochrome filter i've downloaded to support my GIMP photo editing ..... now the nights are drawing in and the mornings are dark, the 365 becomes much more difficult when I'm at work during daylight hours !
@phil_howcroft Well I don't know how you do it...if I was working away from home it would have defeated me......can't spend all night on the computer ...not very sociable with family!!!!
@butterfingers1960 thanks for your kind words beezy, glad you approve :)
