Howcroft Vintage

On Saturday we went to Tesco to redeem some of 'about to expire' clubcard vouchers.

Tesco are running a promotion whereby you can 'boost' (double) your vouchers on selected items.

We converted £20 into £40 to spend on "Tesco Finest Wines" selection and bought a few bottles ...one of which was from the "Howcroft Estate"...

This picture shown is a "Howcroft" wine (it really is ...view large to see the label). It is a Cabernet Sauvignon from the "Howcroft Estate"

The Howcroft Estate is 10km west of Bordertown, adjacent to the township of Mundulla on the Limestone Coast of Australia.

I don't think we are related !!!! ...I will let you know what it tastes like when we open it

@judithg well a trip to Oz is on my 'wish list'..i quite fancy walking up to the top of Sydney Bridge ....might be a retirement trip ...then again will we ever retire given the state of 'private pensions' ....oh ant the government insisting on raising the pension age !
