365 - End of Year 3 by phil_howcroft

365 - End of Year 3

I've been on 365 for 3 full years now.

Year 1 : A full year of pictures every day (phew that was hard)

Year 2 : a few weeks off and then post when you can

Year 3 : Average about 4 or 5 images per week, post when I can

So this image is my end of year 3, a collage of some of the shots from year 3.

So what happened in year 3?

Well the highlight was my daughter Kirsty's wedding to Matt (main pic of collage).

The winter was harsh and lots of snow (top little pic).

My job was offshored to India, so i was unemployed for 5 weeks....I now have a new job in a new photo location...Basford, Nottingham....great for trams and bridges (middle little pic)

We had a fantastic summer and I was able to do some fab macro shots of flowers (never did macros and flowers before 365)

What will my picture adventure hold for year 4? Maybe I ought to try some new genre's....I like monochrome....but I don't really know where to go next? Any suggestions?

I don't normally do 3GF's, but here are todays

GT1 : 365
GT2 : It's the weekend now ...I am always a few days behind on 365 !
GF3 : Year 4

Great collage

No Ruby here.......lovely resume of your year just 5 days before me! I think you have done amazingly well to do as many posts as you do when you are working.
Not sure what your next theme could be....there are always the daily word ones but I think you would need to have more flexibility than that. You need to be able to take every advantage of your daily life & not be restricted to certain subjects. I like your views & life in Arnold best....I always liked your views from the #58 bus myself.
All letterbox perhaps or different shots of Ruby's walk.

@happypat thanks Pat, Ruby is knee deep in the snow in the top pic (probably need to view large to see her)...thanks for the suggestions and kind words...it is difficult to keep one's 365 vibrant :)

Congratulations, Phil on your achievement! I'm glad you are planning to continue. It is so much a part of my appreciation of Life that I doubt I will stop until they pull my camera from my cold dead hand! Like you my child's wedding was a high point in my year. Your change of profession must have been unsettling but you weathered the change beautifully. I look forward to seeing your photos in the year ahead.
