This is a red bus that takes students from their "Basford Maltings" student accommodation to the Nottingham Trent Uni' city campus sites.
It really is leaning over that much as the road has a wicked camber .
The title of the image is inspired by the words from the first school book I read at school ..."The big red lorry went up the hill"....from the red book, green book , yellow book series
Reminds me of a children's song in the States: "The wheels on the bus go round and round." Love your composition, Phil, and the way the red of the bus and brick pop from the picture. Good framing choice too.
....... said Janet to John! Or perhaps you don't go that far back? Lovely shot. We set off for home tomorrow and arrive on Saturday. It will be quite a shock after all this sunshine. Still we've had a wonderful time.
@redpants thanks sue, i did think about the 'wheels on the bus' as a title :)
@willowdragon Thanks Al...Our school didn't do Janet and John...in fact they didn't do a lot...looking back and knowing what I know now.....I can't say I was very impressed with the level of education at our infant / primary school !
Neat shot love the colour of the brick and bus they seem to be resonating! I remember reading a book in nursery and looking at a weird long word in the title and thinking is that how you spell Wednesday? I asked the nursery nurse, she was gob smacked! I was only 3 and could already read quite competently, I guessed it right too :-)
