Tulips

Shot while gardening this afternoon.

We bought some herbs and evergreens to brighten the garden up.

By t he time I got to photographing these tulips it was raining.

You can see the raindrops on the petals.

Shot with my nifty fifty to get some bokeh, only trouble is you get bokeh on the tulips at the back too.

Edited in GIMP, cropped, saturation boosted, a tad sharpening and a colour border added.
