Old School Truck on the road to School

I did a quick grab shot on my mobile phone of this "old school" truck while walking back to school on my lunch time walk.

I had no idea what model or make the vehicle was, I tried google and the dvla, then had the idea of searching the registration number on flickr.

Hey Presto, it is a truck-mounted Hydrocon crane built on a modified Albion chassis :)

Edited in phone with a drama filter and then a HDR finish. Good Eh ?

I like the slight HDR effect....gives this picture rather a story book for boys look. Reminds me of the endless truck books I used to read at bedtime! An interesting type of truck, will look good at it' s full height.

@happypat @kerristephens @busylady @gamelee @swilde thanks everyone for your kind words, i forgot to mention a 'H' reg vehicle is from 1969, so this Albion truck is 45 years old. What were you all doing in 1969 (we all were doing something apart from kerri, who is far too young to remember '69)
