Waiting for Kick Off

Bolton Wanderers fans looking forward to the kick off at last nights away match at Doncaster Rovers

We won 2-1 in an end of season type game for the Wanderers.

"We're not going down , We're not going up, We're Bolton Wanderers, We never give up" (well that's a polite version of what some Bolton fans were singing last night)

I don't sing at football, well maybe an odd verse of the hard to remember song ..
"Wanderers, Wanderers, Wanderers, Wanderers, Wanderers, Wanderers, Wanderers, Wanderers, Wanderers, Wandererrrrrrrrs, Wandererrrrrrrrrrrs"

It was quite mild and balmy at 7 O'Clock but once the sun had set and the light gone it went cold very quickly.

The official attendance for the match was 7,508 of which just over 700 were away fans from Bolton. Quite a decent turn out for a nothing match.

We are a happy bunch of supporters as can be seen from all the smiling faces in this shot .....oh and that almost leads me into another song !
Awesome shot

Love the b&w here, Phil. Makes it look like an older shot.

I'm not sure why I like it, but I do. @cdonohoue is right, it looks like a vintage image. Maybe that's what gets me.

All very serious here Phil. I love the b&w

The intent look on their faces means nothing has happened yet! Their faces will probably change!

The first thing that struck me was what a serious job being a football fan! Not one smile in the whole lot of them. I do like to see a people shot, something fascinating about looking at the faces....I like this Phil & had to be b/w of course!

They're looking very well behaved! Peter has started going to support St. Neots town lately as he's fed up with Sunderland who are destined for relegation this year.
