M62 EastBound - On top of Britain

Last game of the football season today for Bolton Wanderers.

This is my return journey to Nottingham on the M62 EastBound.

At this point the motorway is the highest in Britain. This is Scammonden Bridge carrying the B6114 Saddleworth Road.

As for the football, we were 2-0 up but drew 2-2 with Birmingham City. The draw saved Birmingham from relegation, the 3rd minute of stoppage time equaliser sending their fans into a frenzy !

Fantastic shot too.....I have been over here a few times & some lovey views although I like the M6 north of J 36 best.
