My wife bought me a deluxe bird feeder for my birthday (yesterday).
I thought the birds might be none too impressed that I took the old one down and replaced it with a swanky new one.
However they seemed quite pleased with the new feeder and soon came to sample the selection of seed, nuts and suet pellets (with added insects).
This is a hand held shot through the dining room window on the 300mm end of my 70-300mm lens on a dark damp , drainy morning. The ISO has been bumped up high so it's a tad grainy.
If I build myself a little disguise (maybe a blanket chucked over a clothes horse), I might get some decent shots when the light is better.
You can see the water shaking off the starlings back and the rain falling.
Not a brilliant shot, just about passable for a 365 photo

@judithg I left the old feeder close by, I propped it up by some trees, so maybe that helped
