12 minutes and think about how much they cost! I bet people will have forgotten them after a couple of days! Not that I would like to see them stop, of course - we can get good photographs!
Great capture of some
Nice red ones!!!! Here in the US, on July 4, when we have fireworks, some of us noticed there were very few blue ones. Did you notice that? Maybe they cost more! Or do not show up on dark sky was well
@eyesmile gena, it was 'bonfire night' / 'guy fawkes night', we celebrate the failed attempt to blow up the "houses of parliament" (same as your whitehouse) by guy fawkes in 1605
Hardly worth putting your coat on Phil!! There is something about a bonfire night though & I miss our bonfire nights when the kids were little. We could smell lovely smoke last night but I never heard one firework go off. Love your flash of red lighting up,the whole sky....great P&S shot, it did well! Treacle toffee yum yum.....hope you had some!
@judithg awww poor monty, ruby seem to ignore them. You are right about the lack of colour in my recent posts (it's that damn 50 mono portraits). My flickr photos are very mono at the moment as i only post my better pics there and at the moment they all seem to be my portraits . I dipping my toes into google+ , there are some fantastic photographers showcasing some super shots there. 365 will always be my main photostream though :)
@kerristephens thanx kerri

@maggiemae yes 12 minutes, i think we had 15 minutes last year maggie :)

Lovely shot ..... like the colour as it sets off the smoke :)
@willowdragon indeed Al, we always time them (sad I know !), they have been known to last for 15-20 minutes in previous years !!
