I've been decorating most of the day and then we went looking for new bedding to match the freshly painted room (duckegg blue for accessories is the colour of choice)
Anyway this is a shot from last Sunday
It's a former railway cutting that runs through along the boundary of Arnot Hill park. I've photographed this location before on my 365, but the wall was a stark green colour. It now has some 'official graffiti', which makes for a better shot (and works in mono).
Ruby, Claire and Jane are silhouetted and the separation between them helps the photo
When you said you'd been decorating all day. I thought wow - what a great job, I can understand how it took you all day! Ah but no, I guess someone else did this attractive piece of 'decorating!' Ha ha! Great shot Phil.
Fantastic shot, Phil! The graffiti has a '60s "mod" look, so the whole photo makes me think the people are stepping into a different era. Or maybe I just need to lay off the wine ;-)
Love the quirkiness of this and the little touches : the dog looking up at the man, the 'easter island' type sculpture through the tunnel.
Thank you for your kind comments on my work and the follow. I took a look back through your album. I have to say I'm especially impressed by your 50 mono portraits series, great photos and I love the subtle, sympathetic processing - so much about the person, not just the face.
Happy to reciprocate your follow and looking forward to seeing more of your work.
