This shot is only about a couple of hours later than the previous shot of the clear blue skies over St. Mary's Church
We've had our Sunday Lunch and are now taking Ruby on a walk up to the Hobbucks. It's a walk on top of Arnold, you can see for 20 miles through the Trent Valley, across the city of Nottingham and out towards East Midlands Airport.
Jane and Ruby are walking up the path and I'm hanging behind clicking my camera.
Little Ruby is always up for a walk. Which is a good thing as she walks miles and miles with us !
Auto Levels, letterbox'ish crop and a tad sharpening in GIMP
You let Jane get a long way ahead - I'd be in trouble for that! Looks like a lovely walk - Monty is quite chipper on the walk front recently which I think may be because he's on steroids for his skin and as a side effect they are helping his neck. The bad side of this is that it would suggest that his neck has been sore again....
This is wonderful Phil. Love how the pathway leads your towards the grove of trees. A lovely scene. Having your family in the photo helps add perspective. Love it. Those clouds are amazing. FAV
Ruby is lucky to have good walking owners! Otherwise she would be a fat Ruby! I like the curves in the path and the soft focus at the tops of the tree line. Clouds are good too!
Beautiful scenery and the place cries out for walkers. Great shot. It is always the same with me - I am always lagging behind clicking away at everything I notice.
@busylady thanks judith and thanks for the fave :)
