Bubbles by phil_howcroft

Bubbles

We had another practical night at camera club last night

These are Aldi wahing up bubbles in a pyrex dish with coloured card underneath. The dish is raised a few inches above the tabke and illuminated underneath with a table lamp

We can be creative sometimes at camera club

Great creative capture, like it.

A very simple idea that works beautifully Phil! Love the use of these props!

I thought it was oil and water at first! Well it is in a way - washing up liquid produces rainbow bubbles so it must have a bit of oil in it! Super colours!

I like it! I like how the bubble in the centre is two-tone, and the light at the top which contrasts against the bottom of the pic. What a great idea for your camera club. I've recently joined the U3A photography group. It's run by two great guys who are members of the local camera club. They're open to new ideas so maybe I'll suggest this!

Very effective. I'll have to try this too sometime. Could be part of a Jimi Hendrix poster!

Now this has to be easier to clesn than oil and water...at least you already have the bubbles!

WOW...almost looks like relief map. Great colors and light reflections and patterns. Very creative Phil!!! Thanks for all your lovely comments and I did do a flip on that egret shot. Turned out good I think...it is in my alternate album.

Well done. And I thought you had landed on Mars or Jupiter, haha. Great shot.

Nicely done, love the colours.

It looks like a sheet of moulded, metallised plastic. Like the ambiguity. Great colours.
