Ruby enjoyed the warm Spring sun today offering an occassional helping paw as we spent a day gardening ......... cut the grass, cleaned the pond, chucked some rubbish out of the shed, sowed some seeds (poppy, lettuce, beetroot), got a garden bench out winter storage, took a few pics of ruby, some daffs and blossom, fitted 3 ruby walks in and even managed Sunday Lunch 'el fresco' on our pation ! Ran out of time to wash the car !
A bit of faffing aroud with the sliders for levels, and vibrancy in Rawtherapee for this shot. One nice touch in Rawtherapee is when you crop it shows the rules of third grid, which enabled me to ger Ruby's eyes on the thirds
@quietpurplehaze you are right about the distraction hazel, it is the arm of the bench that came out of storage. I did think of cloning it out, but decided it was too hard :-)
Great doggie portrait, Phil. And Ruby is a great subject to capture. I did some gardening too yesterday. Today all my bones are aching. Forget the car, I have given up washing it.
