Amazing detail in your shot, I like the other one too. I'm always a bit in awe when I read the technical details under your shots. I'll have a look at the editor (non-destructive sounds an essential!)
@quietpurplehaze thank you Hazel :) . I clicked the skin tones setting to bring our Rex's details :)
I am a bit blown away by the editor. it is really cool
I read the manual for about 30 minutes and off I went
Lots of forums and help on the net and tutorials
It's free too (open source) and runs on windows / macs / linux machines
No need to purchase lightroom / photoshop etc :)
Definitely have a look - my 3 month old Sony has annoyingly deveoped a 'can't read the memory card' fault and may be away for up to a month so I can spend some time on editing existing shots perhaps!
@joceyk WOW hello jocelyn, nice to see you on 365 :) I hope you enjoy your time here. It's a lot smaller than flickr, but you seem to get to know your friends better :)
I really like the tones in this portrait too Phil......they are very detailed but there isn't that hardness that sometimes you get with a black & white shot. I am always impressed by your knowledge of technical details.
