Wind Chime Dangly Bit No. 1 by phil_howcroft

Wind Chime Dangly Bit No. 1

This a a dangly bit on a wind chime in our garden

Edited in Rawtherapee, I added a vignette to tone down the bokeh colours of the garden

Dangly bit No. 2 tomorrow.

Any Ideas what it might be?

Well this is a heart, but I can assure you it's not 'stone' , 'glass' or 'broken'

Nice image Phil - the angle gives the feeling of movement.

I guess this might be the bit that strikes against the chimes?
Pretty dangly bit and capture - the colours in the bokeh set it off nicely and the vignette is subtle and effective.

@dulciknit i like your use of subtle and effective Alison :). Its the bit that catches in the wind to allow the middle bit to chime against the little tubes

@kerristephens cheers kerri

@alinz a little tilt of the camera Ali :)

@phil_howcroft Ah, yes - I can 'see' it now!

Terrific contrast against the blurred background colours.

Naturally Phil - its the dangly bit #2! Getting a bit tricky here if we see a continuation of 'dangly bits" This particular one is nicely composed with the blurred and colouful background!

Love what you've done here. The muted tones behind the sharp dangly bit.

Nice as a silhouette against the colours in the background.
