Steampunk Couple

I've still got a backlog of steampunk photos from the steampunk picnic of two weeks ago.

This couple were quite conservative in their choice of steampunk outfits. They were sat by the grass against the backdrop of the winding house wall. The grey wall makes for an uncluttered background and an ideal way to showcase the couple

I usually shoot my portraits with quite wide open apertures (f5.6 max) to get bokeh backgrounds, but with a plain canvas i could shoot this at f9.1

I probably have two more steampunk shots to post before I close the series.

Actually they look more like coming from one of those different religious communities! Steam punk has leather, pistols, clocks, feathers etc!

They do look rather less extrovert than your previous portraits. This is great though - the plain background works well.
