I've still got a backlog of steampunk photos from the steampunk picnic of two weeks ago.
This couple were quite conservative in their choice of steampunk outfits. They were sat by the grass against the backdrop of the winding house wall. The grey wall makes for an uncluttered background and an ideal way to showcase the couple
I usually shoot my portraits with quite wide open apertures (f5.6 max) to get bokeh backgrounds, but with a plain canvas i could shoot this at f9.1
I probably have two more steampunk shots to post before I close the series.
A lovely double portrait and I can't help smiling too when I look at it. I'll show Ray the beard as I think it could be what he's aiming for! I'll remember the tip re the aperture, thanks.
